[PCSX] Using Dex Drive Files (.gme) help

Hi guys, thanks for the great app

I haven’t had many problems (or at least problems I couldn’t figure out myself), however I’m stumped at the moment. I downloaded a dexdrive save game file from gamefaqs (final fantasy tactics)…

Just to be clear, the dex drive file format is .gme and i would need it to be in .srm format to work, correct?

Does anyone know how to convert it so that it works? And how do you get it to be recognised on the memory card (or do you just rename the file to match the .bin file?)

Thanks in advance

You can use pretty much any PS1 Memory Card tool to convert .gme files to something else. The one I use is MemCardRex.

Convert it to .mcr file.

Start up the game in Retroarch. It will automatically create two memory card files in the System folder. Copy the filename of one of them. Then delete it. Rename the .gme file you converted to .mcr, and then place it in the Systems folder. This should work.
