I have found that there is already a native OpenBOR libretro core for RetroArch

It uses internally many OpenBOR engines, so maximum compatibility with most of the games through the different versions

Looks interesting, unfortunately no pre compiled build available.

If it doesn’t go against some licensing issue (like with Goosestation), For those of us not very experienced with compiling cores, would appreciate if someone could post a compiled build for Windows and/or Linux (again, if there’s no issues in doing so).

It’s an extremely interesting core, and mee too I’d appreciate it if someone could post a compiled build. By the way the same author is working on a core called AnyGM-libretro, which is compatible with GameMaker content formats. The AnyGM info file is already available in the updates, but the core itself is still missing; I hope it’ll be available soon! Thanks to the author i can’t wait for the cores!

Okay, I think I managed to build the AnyBOR core (Windows build) with Docker (albeit with 1 warning but it still says successful fwiw - Still on a VMware Virtual Machine):

But now I’m stuck on the final part and I can’t extract the docker “image”/thing. Basically, I can’t get the compiled dll itself.

I did managed to build the Goosestation core for Windows recently but here I get an error… So any pointers would be appreciated. Keeping in mind I’m not super experienced at compiling stuff.
