Play with 2 Game Boy

Hi everyone,

Last topic I promis!!!

I have some mistery I would like to explain…

First I discover recalbox Than I install retroarch on my computer, I find it amazing so I copy everything on an usb key to offer it to my sister.

So I have 3 way to play:

  • my recalbox
  • my computer
  • any other computer with the usb key

I made some change on my recalbox so I can play tetris with 2 players. Just had to use “TGBDUAL” and to put “GB link enable (restart)” on “enable” I did it from retroarch menu on my recalbox.

Now, when I play tetris on my computer, I have 2 screen, I can play with 2 players, even if I only made modification on my recalbox… Is it possible that, by modifying files from my recalbox that is connected to my network I also modify files on my computer???

Moreover, when I connect my key on my friend computer, we can only play with one player… Do you know what should I modify on my key to be able to play tetris with 2 players on any computer???

I don’t know about the network thing. It should only affect your other installation if that installation is looking at the same files (for example, on a shared network drive).

For the USB key, just make sure you’re using the TGB Dual core and enable the GB link option and you should be all set.

Thank you, yes it works now… For newbes:

  • be sure to load TGBdual in “load core”
  • When it is done: 1)run tetris
  1. push “F1” to go in retroarch menu
  2. go on “options”
  3. put “GB link option” on “ON”
  4. save current config (to have this any time you run tetris)
