Playstation cores crash at start

Hello, Unfortunately I’m having some trouble. The other cores I’ve downloaded work, but both psx cores crash as I attempt to launch Final Fantasy Tactics. The BIOS is properly placed and Retroarch is looking at it, yet I get “unfortunately, Retroarch has stopped” I’m on a Nexus 5 running Android 6.0.1. I’ve used pcxs rearmed in the past within Retroarch and its worked beautifully. It has been a year and a half though.

Thanks. I looked at that thread but the issues the writer had weren’t mine. I’ll use that core and see if its fixed.

The problem you’re describing is exactly the problem i had,
Here is the last working version of the core for android: http://www109.zippyshare.com/v/eb1lVNDn/file.html
Download the .so core file, and go into your /data/data/com.retroarch and into the cores directory, and copy it over, and it’ll ask if you want to replace the existing file, hit yes of course. Just posting the quote here for other people. Someone needs to go back and replace the PSX core in the nightly/latest with this older one. would save a lot of headaches. The one Talos linked works perfectly for me, 60fps on any game i throw at it, with enhanced resolution enabled.
