Please use a single configuration directory on Android

currently retroarch stuff (assets, saves, default paths) on Android are split among two folders. On my system they are:

/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.retroarch[64]/ and /storage/emulated/0/RetroArch

This makes saving and restoring settings from a device to another - or from an installation to another - quite an unconfortable hassle.

Please do consider using a single place for everything RetroArch so that saving own’s precious setups (custom overlays, shaders, overrides, UI settings etc) would be much easier.

Thank you very much

I don’t think this is a Retroarch issue, but an Android one. If you convert your external storage to expanded storage you can move the app to the SD.

Depending on the device this may not be possible.

So what I’m saying is I don’t believe this is a choice the Retroarch developers have personally made. AFAIK
