I tried out an older version of it, and my start button wasn’t working. So I used the core updater, and now it isn’t working at all, it just crashes. Anyone else having this problem?
you should probably post details, like retroarch version, what game you test and if it was working before or evensince… the least you can do is post the logs so it will be easier for others to help.
I was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. Creating logs with Retroarch is an unintuitive process that I’ve long forgotten how to do.
But it crashes for any game (specifically, King’s Field and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night) that I try to load, and I’m using the last official retroarch 1.3.6 with the latest PSX HW mednafen.
I just copied the old core from another folder I had backed up and everything is working.
It just so happens that I kept a batch file that makes logs, so, here is a log of me trying to load King’s Field.
you set psx to use vulkan, you need to set also in retroarch to use vulkan instead of opengl video drivers. and you use latest nightlies especially when using HW mode (retroarch keep evolving)
i do not have vulkan capable card so i do not know any workaround of these issues. lets wait for others to share light on this.
