PPSSPP - Jumbled System Fonts

When using PPSSPP, system menus in-game all have a jumbled font (see attachment). From what I’ve read, it sounds like the problem described here (Common Problems #1): http://emulation-general.wikia.com/wiki/PPSSPP

I’ve downloaded the fonts, but I can’t figure out where they go in the Retroarch file structure. Anyone know?

Hmm. I believe I’ve done that but I’m still getting the jumbled text. My file structure: http://i.imgur.com/fiG32ih.png

That looks correct to me. I’m using an older build of the core from before the “WriteRest Op Out of Range” error started happening. Maybe you’d have better luck with that; I uploaded a copy here.
