I have a problem with sound in Windows 10 1719 and Retroarch 1.7.1. When I select xaudio, it does not sound anything, and it shows this error:
[INFO] XAudio2: Requesting 64 ms latency, using 63 ms latency. [ERROR] Failed to init XAudio2. [ERROR] Failed to initialize audio driver. Will continue without audio.
When this value is set in the retroarch.cfg:
audio_latency = “64”
I have DirectX 12 installed and I have checked dx config, and everything is fine.
If I change xaudio by dsound, wasapi, openal or sdl2, it sounds but with a lot of noise, it does not sound good.
