Olá amigos. Após mudar o idioma para português meu retroarch ficou com os caracteres dessa forma. Alguém por gentileza sabe como resolver este Problema?
That means your font is missing some of the required glyphs. The standard XMB font should include them, but it looks like maybe you’re using another font…?
Ele utiliza as fontes do próprio Windows? Onde consigo modificar isso?
settings > user interface > appearance > menu font

Testei novas fontes e o problema persiste. 
Meu problema ainda persiste. Alguém poderia me ajudar?
Estou com outro problema identificado ontem também. Baixei os emuladores Para Atari 2600 já tenho as toma que funcionam no meu notebook porém no meu PC faço a varredura das roms, mas o retroarch não reconhece. O mesmo ocorreu com o emulador de Master System. Se alguém puder ajudar com isso também agradeço.
The scan will only identify ROMs that match our databases. If you have other ROMs, they won’t be added, even if they play fine with load core > load content.
If you bring up the desktop interface (press F5), you can drag-and-drop ROMs to make playlists, and those playlists will be available in the regular gamepad-driven interface, as well.

As mesmas roms funcionam em outro computador rodando a mesma versão do Retroarch.
Make sure you have the core downloaded before you scan, and make sure you have your info files and databases updated through the online updater. Other than that, dunno /shrug

Actually, it looks like what happens when UTF-8 encoded text is mistaken for being ISO 8859-1.
