Probleme Xbox 360 controller

hello, i use lubuntu 18.04.1 (bionic). i compliled Retroarch with git clone, configure, make, make install today : retroarch 1.8.5. i have a joypad :

lsusb 045e:028e Microsoft Corp. Xbox360 Controller.

in Retroarch, in first i have use linuxraw driver. my joypad call “Microsoft X-Box 360 pad” and no autoconfigure.

i have search in folder ~/.config/retroarch/autoconfigure. the file for 045e:028e was in “sdl2” folder : X360 Controller.cfg".

in retroarch, i changed my driver “linuxraw” to “sdl” but same probleme, joypad not configured. popup error : microsoft Xbox 360 pad" (0/0) not configured.

can you help me ?

hello, i tested in other version of lubuntu 19 and 20 is the same probleme. in version 18.04.4, i test with snap version is the same problem.

i actived log debug mode : no error appear… [info][joypad] found joypaddriver “sdl”

my joypad is a dragon war g-pc-002, is an old joypad serie.

can you help me ?

for information , with SDL driver in log file : [device] Xbox 360 pad [device] X axes X buttons

After a lots of test, this problems is the joypad generic. no emulate a true Gamepad 360.

i change joypad.
