PS One games crashing on IOS 8.3

Hello. I have Retroarch 1.0.0.1 installed via IPAWIND on my iPhone IOS 8.3. All games work fine except Playstation games. Every time I try to load a game it crashes. Also, whenever I try to access Frontend it crashes too. Please help me!

use the core pcsx interpreter dlyb if you dont have jalibreak

PS 1 works.

ok when you say use the latest night build, what do you mean?

I tried that already but it still crashes.

Use TAIG to Jailbreak. I think they fixed Dynarec. ;d

When i use PPJailbreak,The FrontEnd and PS1 game crush when i tried load with that core PSX ReARMed.But,pcsx_rearmed_interpreter_ios.dylib worked but not better than PCSX ReARMed.I mean it have sound glitches problem also, some graphical problem too.

But when i jailbreak my iphone6 with TaiG and install RetroArch 1.0.0.1 from Cydia,it fixed!!I can now play any more game i liked. Also in order to add BIOS,u need to jailbreak too to access File System.

1.Use TaiG jailbreak. ( http://pangu8.com/taig83.html ) 2.Install iFile and RetroArch from Cydia. 3.Download these bios (scph1001.bin,scph5500.bin,scph5502.bin,scph7502.bin) from this site : http://www.psxdev.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=56

Please do above these steps first and i will tell u next. Here is my problem : http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3636 and i got fixed now…

[Update] May be u r having problem with rom like me i guess.retroArch only read .bin or .iso for me.So try download ps1 games from EDITED TO REMOVE LINK TO RAWMZ SITE

Actually, I went to www.TaIG.com /en and jailbroke my phone. The PlayStation games now work. Thanks for your suggestion!

Welcomes. ;d

does your frontend still crash I’m on taig and i can’t seem to load frontend settings

Thanks for this tip, Darnassus! I wasn’t aware that different jailbreaks came with such consequences. I presumed that all jailbreak roads led to the same end result. I used the PP jailbreak on my iPod Touch 6 and find that the interpreter is the only PSX core I can run. I used the TAIG jailbreak on my old iPad 3, and the dynarec works flawlessly. I wanted to confirm that I’m understanding this correctly, though, as I found a thread that makes mention to 64-bit processors being the problem. Can you set me straight–is this a jailbreak method issue or a more advanced processor issue?
