I know various PS1/PSP emulators already exist for IOS, but I’ve seen some videos of PS2 emulators running on android devices. Are any known to exist or currently in development for IOS? Is an iphone/ipad even capable of that degree of emulation?
I would be very skeptical of any claims of PS2 on Android. PCSX2 is not a particularly portable codebase.
They are probably using a remote desktop app with the actual emulation being done on the desktop.
