PSX mednafen HW latest cores CD boot issue

Updating the PSX Mednafen HW core after Nov 19, results in Retroarch now booting into CD player screen instead of the chosen game (as if there is no CD in the drive).

My CDs are in .PBP format. If i use Disc Control to insert the disk i get a “Failed to append the disc” error.

If i revert the core back (around Nov 19) everything works again. Anything drastic changed with latest core updates?

hmm, just one commit, so that makes it easy to pinpoint :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the report. I’ll see if we can get it confirmed and, if so, maybe roll back the commit.

I just did another “Update installed cores” and now everything works fine… Strange!

We reverted the change and will do more testing before re-applying it.
