Question about core setting in mupen

IS there a setting that would be causing text to look a little fuzzy in Majora’s Mask? Like maybe some sort of aliasing or something? Everything else looks great but the text within the game when people speak seems fuzzy.

Edit - I think I found it. The texture filtering when set to bilinear produces these results. If I set it to nearest everything crisps up (but then the lower res becomes more noticeable in everything, especially the environment like the ground).

I suppose it is just an artifact of emulation. Thankfully it isn’t too annoying and the game seems to reun very well.
