Random freezes when on the menu in fullscreen

I’m getting freezes on the Retroarch menu when I use the fullscreen mode. This happens on the 1.3.6 version, so I decided to downgrade to 1.2.2, yet the same problem still persists. I’ve tried deleting the retroarch.cfg file and downloading a fresh stable version, yet the problem still persists. During these freezes, it’s impossible for me to escape out of Retroarch and to open the task manager so I have to resort to hard shutdowns.

I’m on a Toshiba laptop and my specs are Core i5 5200u 2.2 GHz Intel HD Graphics 5500 8 GB RAM Windows 10 64 bit

This problem never occurs on my other weaker laptop and my much, much more powerful desktop.

There’s not much we can do without any sort of logs or backtraces other than keep an eye out. I haven’t experienced this, personally.

It’s funny yet sad that due to this issue, it’s impossible for me to procure a log…
