Recommended SNES and NES Cores on Windows 64 bit?

Quite a few cores in the updater, which should I go for? Also, does Nestopia support Famicom Disk System?

Nestopia is usually the best choice for NES, and yes, it supports FDS. FCEUMM is better for netplay and supports a few weird Chinese pirate mappers that Nestopia does not.

For SNES, bsnes-mercury-balanced is good for most things, as is snes9x. CatSFC is good for extremely low-power situations but it has a lot of accuracy issues that you should avoid when possible.

Great, thanks hunterk! I’ll go with bsnes-mercury-balanced and snes9x as my laptop is powerful enough.
