Hi! I think that a useful tool would be the possiblity to enable an automatic video recording of the last 15 minutes of gaming, and if something happen while playing that we want to record, we can do that by saving the last 15 minutes of gaming, then Retroarch will instantly save a video in some folder. The tool is the same that is available on PS4 (there you press “SHARE” button and then “Save clip”, or something similar), and I think is very useful, because I don’t know when something great (or something strange) is going to happen in the game that I’m playing, and users don’t want always record ALL their gameplays! What do you think? Are there any plans about it? 
While this is definitely a cool feature (e.g. Nvidia “shadowplay”), I think it’s better-suited to external programs. Tbh, if OBS had existed back in circa 2012 when the recording was added, we probably wouldn’t have put it in at all.
