I have some curiosities with this emulator… How is it possible to have this core if it is a closed source project? Who implemented “OIT” first?
In images you see the “ILO” of Redream, I find them curiously similar to Reicast.
This other video shows how Redream is without IOT.
Redream used to be open-source but the author closed it off. That doesn’t work retroactively, though, so we still keep the last open-source version around in case anyone else wants to start working on it.
I don’t know who first implemented OIT, but if it’s implemented properly, it will all look the same (that is, correct).
