What am I missing since my system won’t play titles from other regions than Europe? Is there a hidden config setting somewhere, or do I need a bios or other rom tweaks?
If I try to load USA roms, most end up in a black screen, some have very glitchy graphics and sound. But not at all playable.
I’m reffering to NES, SNES, N64 and MAME roms for now. I’m using lr-fceumm for my NES roms, snes9x2010 for my SNES and lr-GLupeN64 for the N64 roms. And MAME 2003 with 0.78 roms.
My system is a raspberry pi 3 running LibreElec (7.0.2) with Gamestarter 2.6. This gives me Kodi menu access to retroarch 1.3.6 No overclocking that I’m aware of.
Is it possible to play USA roms in Europe? It seems to be more than a pal/ntsc problem?
Also, after picking a rom to play, I’m presented with an emulator selection screen. How do I change this selection later without removing and re-adding the rom?
SNES roms only shows up if they’re in the SFC format, all of the SMC format is skipped. Why’s that? It should be supported? Can it be missing headers? How do I verify that?
Thanks
