Reicast lightgun crosshair

Hi,

Just testing the hot new reicast core with all the additions of the last days. It’s amazing guys. I’ve tested some confidential m,ission with lightgun setup and works flawlessly. There is no crosshair on the screen though, so I have to use my Windows pointer to locate where I’m aiming at.

Is there something am I missing? Os it isn’t implemented yet?

Last I heard, they were still trying to decide if that’s something they wanted to add or not, since it didn’t exist in the original system. Most cores add one, though.

Seriously? Wow, I hope they decide to add it. On other cores it’s usually a core option which can be enabled or disabled.

You will usually use a mouse (I’m using the gyrosensors on my DS4) to control the emulated lightgun, so it does not make any sense to me to not draw a crosshair.

Anyways, I’ve already setup a workaround on my case.

And btw, could it be a good idea to implement a generic crosshair core-independent on RA? It could be mapped to system mouse pointer and enabled/disabled via setting. Just an idea for cases like this where there is no crosshair drawn by the core. I think Mesen core is on the same situation as Reicast, the lightgun emulation works but there is no crosshair drawn.
