[REQUEST] shortcuts

Hello,

First of all thanks for you amazing work! I’m not sure there is a proper thread where to post all the request, in case please move my post if it’s in the wrong place.

I’m not sure if that is possible, but it would be great to have the possibility to create a shortcut that open directly the rom from the home page, like any other installed application. So I could open directly my Chrono Trigger or any other rom without browsing the rom folder, and in this way people could organize the roms as they wish, with folder and sub folders, maybe even creating custom icons :slight_smile:

There was talk of adding android intents to Retro Arch. If this was done, you might be able to create shortcuts in a more advanced android launcher already.

You can use Gamesome Fronted aviable on Playstore. With it, you can download/make covers and launch each roms on each platforms with Retroarch or other emulators, like shortcuts do!

Rom shortcuts for android would be awesome, please make it happen.
