I just updated my Mame current core to 0.232 and found the reset key (“h” on keyboard) and the restart option (in quick menu) not working anymore. The “Reset” notification message still pops up at the bottom but nothing happens. The game will not reset itself. I can only use F3 to reset (Mame default reset key) but Retroarch uses F3 to bring up FPS counter.
Mame 2016 and all the other cores are not affected. I’m on Retroarch 1.9.6 and Windows 10. Can anyone reproduce this issue?
