Resolution too high on TV

Hi,

i use the latest nightly and the resolution is to high overall. i cant change it. i mean the menu. it seems when i start retroarch it only takes the native resolution of the tv. and i connected my nuc to a 4k tv. thats to high. on my 1080p tv it runs well. on the 4k tv the framecounter is really small i almost cant see it. thats why i think the resolution internally is to high. i set the resolution of windows 10 to 1080p but the retraarch menu always looks the same.

how can i chose the resolution i want not the native one retroarch is using by default?

You can try changing the video_fullscreen_x/y settings in your retroarch.cfg to something smaller. As long as the video mode for that res already exists, it should snap to it. e.g., 1920 for x and 1080 for y should work but something random like 1884 for x and 997 for y wouldn’t
