Restarted Tablet and now bad quality

I’ve been playing Legend of Dragoon and when I first started, it ran great for 3 days. I finally had to restart my tablet and now the sound is all choppy and the game runs like crap. I have ended every other app (not just any app in the background, but force stopped every app besides retro) and it is still running like this. Any idea what could be causing this?

I assume your tablet is Android-based? If so, the unfortunate truth is that Android is a moving target, even on a single device. You can’t control when some OS-level events happen that can wreck performance.

Does that mean sometimes it will work perfect after I reset it and sometimes not? After 16 hours of gameplay I didn’t have one little problem. Not even a sound crackle. Now the sound is constantly crackling. The video is actually fine, only reason it was doing bad before was because I messed with some settings to fix the sound, but i changed them back to default and it just appears to be the sound.

@Kyuss It just means that it’s very unpredictable. I had audio crackles on my phone with the stock ROM but no crackles with CM10.1. You may have better luck on your next reset or maybe not

ARM Linux is a much more consistent target, as is iOS, BlackberryOS, etc. (not making any claims/judgments about companies, devices, etc.; I have an Android phone myself). Android just isn’t designed with low-latency/high-performance in mind, and the Java garbage collector doesn’t help the situation.

Alright, thanks. Think ill just switch my memory card over to my desktop for now
