Retro Crashes on core selection ios 5.1.1

Hello,

I have an iPad 1 running on 5.1.1 iOS and I am jailbroken, attempting to run retro 4.0.10 and every time i attempt to launch Final Fantasy 7 or 9 on it using either of the 2 cores, it crashes out. I have not tried to run any other games, but I am guessing that it is related to the bios/application, and not the roms. I am wondering what else I can try

I was using psx4all but i was having an issue that many others have attributed to an outdated emulator, where i get 60 fps, but the frames will not actually refresh unless i manually swapped between 1x and 2x zoom.

Had the same experience with psx4all. Canned it and snagged Retroarch. My gab roms work fine, but neither ps1 emulator will work. Crash every time.

We have never tested iOS 5.1.1 and probably never will. You are on your own. You should have upgraded when you got the chance.

It works just fine on iOS 6.1.2 jailbroken.
