Retroach 1.3.4 Unable to load PCE-CD games with Mednafen

I can’t load any PC-Engine CD game using the Mednafen core(pce-fast). I have the proper Bios file (syscard3.pce) and the games are all in .cue.

When I select the core and then the game, Retroarch just closes automatically.

Any suggestion?

If you load the core without any content and go to information > core information, does it say that your BIOS is ‘present’?

Also, could you remove the link in your post? BIOS images are copyrighted files, just like ROMs, so we can’t link to them here.

It says:

Status: Present, required.

K, if it’s finding your BIOS, there may be an issue with your cue sheet. Other than that, we would need a log to know more. In fact, a bad cue should be evident in a log, so that’s probably your next step.

Problem solved! The file name was different from that was on the cue sheet . Same name now and problem solved. Thank you!
