Retroarch 0.9.9 on PS3 freezes

Running Retroarch 0.9.9 on Rebug lite 4.46.1 edition.

I can play NES and SNES ROMs just fine, so far. However, I switched the core to PRBOOM and tried to load the prboom.wad, which resulted in the system seizing up and I had to reboot. Further, when attempting to load a shader, retroarch does the same thing. It seizes up. Any idea on why, or more information you need for me?

It would appear loading any WAD file results in a system hang - I am going to try installing PRBOOM seperate of retroarch and see if I have any luck there.

You are not supposed to load prboom.wad directly. This is in the Cores Manual directory.

You are supposed to load the real Doom WAD (ie. doom.wad, doom2.wad, plutonia.wad, tnt.wad, etc.) and your prboom.wad file should be in the same dir as the real WAD file you are about to load.

Ah I understand - I loaded PRboom separately and it’s working fine. Any idea on the shaders though?
