RetroArch 1.2.2 - doesn't load core in libretro_path at launch

When I was using RetroArch earlier this year, it would always load whatever core I had selected in the cfg file under libretro_path. Now it doesn’t. Every time I launch I always have to select a Core regardless what I have in my cfg file. Is there a way to force the old behavior of loading the core automatically on launch?

I’m running the Windows x64 version of RetroArch 1.2.2.

No, it had some bug I don’t remember now so it was disable purposefully

Darn … it was so convenient when creating packages I could give to my less-technical friends when they could just load double-click a shortcut I put on the desktop then they’re ready to select their ROM. Now they’ll have to either select the Core first or load the same config again after launch. Obviously it’s not the end of the world but I hope the option of having the core load at launch gets added in the future.

you can use the -L argument
