I am working on RA loading my Sega CD rar files now. They seem to work. It uses the Genesis Plus GX core and well for few other systems.
Looks like my User 1 and 2 Device Type is MS Sports Pad. I am using I-Pac Ultimate and using 6 buttons. In the core override what would be the line to change to say MD Joypad 6 Button or something that works?
The MS Sports Pad it picked doesn’t seem to work.
Is there a line to add to cfg to force this?
It should be simple enough, not sure of the exact line you’d manually put into the cfg though.
Try these 2 things.
While in that core, head over to input settings and set the device type to 6-button MD pad, then save core overrides.
If that doesn’t solve it, go to Quick Menu>Controls and then set the device type there and save the core overrides again.
I feel like they were chaning which one of those saved the device type. We were talking about it a while ago with the PSX because of the Dual Analogue and DualShock fiasco lol.
Give that a shot and let me know if it still doesn’t work. I know it can be done.
