Problem: Retroarch 1.7.0 return to ps3 xmb.
My PS3 Uses CFW 4.80 Ferrox CEX.
Short history
So, I decided to update my retroarch after seeing its new xmb interface, I was currently using 1.0.0.2 when I updated, I just installed the apk and it worked well for about 5 minutes. When I decided to change its interface icons, every time I switched the icons my TV looked to lose signal of the HDMI, like when it’s bad connect, although it wasn’t. I didn’t have problems changing the background color, but when I was seeing the options for the ribbon my ps3 froze, needing to be reseted. When I launched retroarch again, it just went back to xmb.
How I managed:
- Tried to reinstall retroarch 1.7.0 - Returned to XMB;
- I deleted retroarch paste at /game and reinstalled it - Kept returning to XMB;
- Installed “RetroArch.PS3.v1.3.6.PLUS.BETA.FOR.CEX.PS3.resigned.pkg” found at “1.3 PS3 Issues?” - Kept returning to XMB;
- At the end I installed retroarch 1.0.0.2, got it at brewology, and it works pretty good.
