This is how RGUi has always worked. You change core options by pressing left or right - some core options will effect upon restart, others will take effect immediately after going back to the game.
Can,t load any game, because joystick buttons actually do not work. Old version 0.9.8 - works perfectly.
You’re doing something wrong then because it actually does work. Maybe reinstall it and delete all your old config files.

It does actually. Go to Settings - > Video Options, change Gamma and restart.
menu sometimes don’t work,
The menu is sitll rough around the edges but overall it is a lot better than it was before
i don’t like B for selecting,
There may be an option for switching between A/B.

XUI is now just a thin wrapper around RGUI. I do this because this way I don’t have to duplicate all settings for a totally different menu. The advantages far outweigh the negatives.
With time it will get a bit smoother and better. I think right now it’s not as bad as you’re making it out to be. And it’s certainly far more complete than the old version.
some options ask for text input but there’s no way to write or exit from it,

after trying to load a shader i saved config and now i’m not abble to see anything in screen, just black, etc, etc
You shouldn’t use the Shader Options at all in this release. This also I explained before in my blog post.

Get yourself educated on how RetroArch works and how its cores system works. It isn’t really that hard, and any refusal to understand how it works is simple laziness and ignorance.

By the way, in this last version released for Xbox 360 (v1.0.0.2) I found a problem with the neogeo pocket emulator, the buttons doesnt work, no one! i change the inputs and nothing! anyone had this same problem, there is a solution?
Want to report an Issue with X360 last version (1.0.0.2) im having fatal crash after changing rom with both NES cores, i mean i select a rom, play fine, go back to menu to select another rom, doesnt load and crash. Happens only with both nes cores, roms are in .nes extension and tried severals of them with same results, always fatal crash after try to load a second rom. I did a fresh install and the issue persist, do you know the cause of this? thanks greetings from central america

And no, the Slim stays as well - that’s part of the condition. You either fork out the hardware so that I can debug properly, or I’ll just do what ced did before me and not bother at all. Good luck with the 360 scene in that case or what’s left/dead of it.

unfortunately, the ppsspp core isnt likely to make it to 360. It would require writing a new PPC dynarec to get full speed and even then it would be doubtful.
EDIT: nvm, they just merged a PPC dynarec upstream, apparently, so a 360 port is planned, though it won’t be in the next 1.1 release. Possibly 1.2 or whatever, though.
I feel that is should be known for other people that try this newest release of RetroArch 360, that the analog stick does absolutely nothing in the menu interface, except move the highlight, but still doesn’t register the move.
You have to use the dpad to navigate through the menus, other than that lil caveat… pretty good job. thanks for the work on making this
Hi and thanks for the new version of RetroArch.I want to ask you something about FBA or MAME core.I see this game called “Osman” (Cannon Dancer on Japanese market) for old arcade machine and i want to play it.In FBANext 0.2.97.28 version i have this game but when i start the game,the graphic is messy and i don’t see when i need to go.I was try to run only this game using FBA or MAME core in RetroArch but it always give me Fatal Crash when i try to start a game.Can you tell me is it somehow possible to run this game without any glitches or errors?
It was mentioned above that the dev squarepusher who was doing the past port for the 360 branch did not have hardware to be able to dev for the 360 any more.
I’m wondering if i was to gift dev hardware would it be possible to resume development?
There is work to port xbmc to the 360 and I’m wondering about intergration with emulators.
