Retroarch broken on BlackBerry

On my BlackBerry Z30 Retroarch is squished into the left half of the screen on my Z30.

I am willing to fix it if someone points me in the right direction so I don’t go into the code blindly searching.

I attached a screenshot of how it looks.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I can only test on a Blackberry Playbook. I don’t own a BB10 phone.

I’ll recheck the BB Playbook side soon in preparation for the upcoming release.

as of the latest leaked blackberry 10 os 10.2.1.1925 the retroarch for android is working on blackberry devises. much better functionality than the native version, however the wiimote does not connect now. I am trying to find a way to connect it, possibly through the android method…

Could it be due to the resolution change on the Z30? It is 1280x720 whereas the Z10 is 1280x768.

I don’t know anything about Blackberry 10 since i only own a Blackberry Playbook - and RIM never felt like gracing that one with a BB10 update.

There was a guy in here (CatalystG) who did most of the work on the Blackberry 10 port. Don’t know if he is still here but he might be able to help you with this.

That issue with the screen being stuck in an incorrectly sized and centered portrait view happens on the Z10 as well since 10.2.1.1925. With the 10.2.1.1055 leak there were some strange issues with the rotation of Android Apps which the 1925 solved though. All you have to do is make sure the view is rotated to landscape mode before pressing play and it will work fine in lansdcape mode. CatalystG has been MIA for like forever. I’m sure there are many many Blackberry10 users out there who would be dying for any sort of update or continuation of the project.

It seem as if it’s being worked on still. When I looked at the GitHub ( https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/b … scades.pro ) and I saw that there were 2 contributions made by twinaphex and Themaister 13 days ago on the blackberry-qnx/bb10RetroArch-Casdcades.pro. Still haven’t gotten a compiled release since the initial release which is disheartening. I don’t mind learning to compile the existing source if that’s what it would take to get an updated version. Can you help us Blackberry RetroArch fans Squarepusher?
