Retroarch constantly pausing

As the title says, retroarch seems to randomly lose focus and pause itself in fullscreen on windows 10. I know there is an option to disable pause on focus loss, but when it happens i seem to lose the ability to do other things like save and load states etc unless i refocus retroarch. It wouldnt be a big deal but I’m trying to set it up for couch play and it does it quite a bit. I was wondering if this is a known problem and if there are any possible solutions? Thanks.

I haven’t heard of this happening before, no.

I guess my first suggestion would be to make sure you’re running in exclusive/non-windowed fullscreen.

I had this problem on Windows 8.1, and it was Steam’s fault. On my case was the Steam transmission enabled which caused me that. It was annoying as hell. Hope this helps.

I had something like this happening when Avast enabled a “game mode” agent by default.
I disabled that and it stopped stealing focus.

Got this kind of problem with an LG app to configure my screen, I had to unload it and prevent auto-start.

I guess you mean “stream”. Looks like that’s the problem I have too.
