I’ve installed a few retroarch emulators on the Wii U using loadiine and an SD card. The games work fine, and with the Wii U gamepad I’m able to navigate the menu, and even play roms with the default controls. The problem I’m having is that I cannot rebind any buttons on the gamepad in the config, it just times out, nor does the emulator recognise my Wii U Pro controller set as player 2. Any suggestions?
I asked aliaspider about this and he said that 1.) you’re using a super-old build, so there’s no telling what doesn’t work and 2.) pro controllers and wiimotes aren’t supported yet, only the wii u gamepad (the one with the screen).
