Retroarch Controller works on menu but don't work ingame

I have kii pro streamer and old logitech controller. In retroarch’s menu the controller works but when I try to play a game the controller stops working and I can’t play. How do I solve this problem? Retroarch 1.9.1 .

I’m having the same problem to. Everything worked in 1.9.0, and now, everything is so screwed up in 1.9.1, to the point that Retroarch is virtually unusable. I’m using a HP Laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 2500U processor with 16GB memory if that means anything.

If you temporarily move your ‘config’ directory somewhere else (to remove any overrides and/or remaps that could be acting up), does it treat you any better?

I seen when I go to start a game, it’s registering my PS4 controller as a PS4 controller and an XBOX 360 controller, when it’s a PS4 controller.
