Retroarch-core-options.cfg - Help

I redid my entire RetroArch on Windows using latest stable.

per core config = on

I load RA, open core mednafen psx adjust my CORE inputs and CORE options (enable 2x native res, dualshock, and some other settings), go back and save current config and exit.

I have inside \config\mednafen_psx.cfg file and \config\retroarch-core-options.cfg

I look inside the RACO file and it says 2x native.

I load RA, load mednafen_psx.cfg and look at the core options/inputs all default. Why is this? I need to adjust core options on a few emulators that this file on how it writes/read is driving me nutz.

Have you tried the autoload option in settings?.

per-core configs and ‘automatically load overrides’ are mutually exclusive, and it sounds like you’re trying to do a mixture of the two things. I suggest turning off per-core configs.

That was it, I redid like 14 systems and all working perfectly now. They read the file inside config and apply the correct settings to the core like 2x res or n64 res settings.
