Hey guys, i’m a recent retroarch user but i’m so far loving it, i have had some problems tho! Until recently i had a problem with the mupen64 core, at first the roms boot up fine but after closing the rom and starting it again retroarch crashed, switching cores solved the problem but now the same thing is happening with the Dolphin core (all other cores are fine). Another problem is the fact that when im using hmdi cable to conect my laptop to the tv the audio is glitchy and the performance drops. Selecting threaded option solves the problem on the nes core, and not using mupen64 core also does it, but i still have the problem with other cores (Like Dolphin) Is there a solution for this problem? Thank you
For the crash, we’d need a log to even guess what’s going wrong.
If you’re connecting your laptop to the TV, if it’s not the primary display, vsync won’t work properly and performance can be strange. In general, you want to avoid threaded video whenever possible.
Thank you for your response! Regarding the hdmi problem, i just found it weird because it works when I use standalone emulators. Im not sure if this is the crash log (I have no idea how to get one), but here u go!
