RetroArch crashes when downloading cores (first install)

Hi there. I just installed RetroArch for the first time on my Galaxy S7, and when I open the app and click the link to download the cores, the app simply closes and the screen goes back to the Android home screen. Therefore I can’t use the program at all…

I tried downloading from Google Play, downloading 32 and 64-bit versions from the site, but the same behaviour happens in all of them.

Any tips on what might be going on?

Thanks!!!

Gabriel

Hmm, I haven’t heard of this issue before. Can you try downloading a previous stable from buildbot.libretro.com, say 1.7.7? and see if that treats you any better?

I guess other than that, a log of the crash could be informative.
