Retroarch crashing with the Windows 10 Creators update

Retroarch is crashing when it first opens with the Windows 10 Creators update. Does anyone know any fix?

Dolphin 5.0 is also crashing for me on the Windows 10 Creators update. It happens whenever I open a game. It was running fantastic before the update. Any idea why this is happening with this new crappy Windows 10 update? :frowning:

UPDATE: I managed to get Dolphin working. I switched to DirectX and now it works. This new Windows update doesn’t seem to like OpenGL?

Do you have the graphics driver from your manufacturer installed? Retroarch 1.5.0 works fine for me with OpenGL on Windows 10 CU.

I just tried a bNES game and I have Open-GL and it worked fine. I’m still running RA 1.36 though.

I haven’t been able to use any version past 1.36 - with windows 10

Geforce Experience updated and now everything works fine. I had the latest drivers already installed though for the Windows 10 Creators update. Anyway, just glad it’s fixed now. Thanks for the help.
