Retroarch Doesn’t restore HDR upon closing

I saw that nothing has been said on this issue in over a year but I figured I ask.

I am using the current version of Retroarch 1.9.0 on Windows 10 the latest version as well. When Retroarch starts up HDR is turned off which is fine and I understand why. However when you exit Retroarch HDR is still off but Windows still thinks HDR is on.

This results in the colors being faded until toggling HDR off then on again.

I have not seen any program do this in Windows and I am wondering if there’s some kind of issue with how Retroarch turns off HDR.

Perhaps Retroarch should be turning off the Windows global setting rather than turning HDR off in its own way? Just a guess based off the behavior but I just wanted make people aware of this.
