If so, and it’s still not showing anything useful in the log, I think you’ll need to run it through a debugger to get a stack trace. Download this application:

put it in your RA folder and, from a command line, type:
gdb.exe retroarch.exe
it will bring up a gdb prompt where you can type:
run
This will start retroarch and you can do whatever you usually do to provoke a crash, then type into the gdb prompt:
