RetroArch [Error] gfx_ctx_init

I apologize if this is in the wrong place. I should note that on the same computer I do not get this error message on version 1002, or the build from 9-18-14.

This error pops up each time I start the emulator on any of the more recent nightly builds:

RetroArch [Error] :: gfx_ctx_init :: Failed to bind API <#0, Version 0.0 on context driver “d3d”.

I have a gtx660 nvid, and I have updated all the drivers for the video card and dirextx etc.

If there is anything I can do, or if its a bug, I appreciate your time.

don’t pay attention to it, it isn’t hooked up

It’s true that it doesn’t seem to have effect on emulation. It does however, mess with the loading screens of my front end. Honestly, I’d still use RA even if that never got fixed. It’s too good not too.

But all the same do you mean that its not hooked up yet? As in it’s going to go away on 1.1?

Thanks for the reply

Not sure, what loading screens? you can just hide the DOS window with -D
