RetroArch.exe has stopped working, but WAS previously?

Ok, So I’ve set up everything using HyperSpin, RocketLaunch, running ROMs through RetroArch. HyperSpin wasn’t working correctly, but I WAS able to launch ROMs directly through RocketLaunch. Since the XBOX 360 Wireless adapter wasn’t compatible with my version of windows (Genuine Error) I updated to Windows 10… Screw it, this laptop is ONLY going to be used for Emulation… why not… So after updating to windows 10, none of my ROMs will launch… Thinking about it? Maybe it has something to do with DX9? As windows 10 cannot run it? Seems the ROM paths are correct in HyperHQ and RocketLaunch. I DID try to reinstall RetroArch, still nothing. The only other thing I’ve done other than updating to Windows 10 was installing MAME, which I don’t think would have a bearing on anything, unless it was something in GLOBAL settings such as a shader, or something along those lines. I’ve been trying to find something on this but haven’t had any luck. If someone could help a Nubbum out I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Try installing dx9 from this installer: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

No luck, but thanks for the link. I’m having a bind to API error…?

Quick update. Tried 3 seperate downloads, all 3 showing same error then the pop-up RetroArch.exe has stopped working.

You didn’t forget to extract the redist package in retroarch folder?

So, I downloaded RetroArch on another PC, it works fine… SOOOO, I put it on a flash drive and put it directly onto the pc I was having issues with. No luck.

Ok, we’ll need you to launch from a command line with --menu --verbose >> log.txt 2>&1 to see if it prints any errors.
