I had problem starting the program, as it kept crashing when started.
Then I changed in the cfg:
video_driver = “gl”
to
video_driver = “d3d”
This gave me a black screen, but the program started.
So i went into the cfg again and changed:
menu_driver = “xmb”
to
menu_driver = “rgui”
Now it works… it’s not pretty but hey, it’s up and running… ^^

I run retroarch on an old laptop, on my “big” pc it runs without problem
