My pad: Xbox controller I want play mario64 . What the best joypad https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/90/N64-controller-annotated.jpg configuration for this game in retroarch. By defaults, x And y button in Xbox controller not associated and I cannot use the 2 not rare buttons , I suppose. What the best configuration you can advice.
I do it like this:
N64 - Xbox
Dpad = Dpad Start = Start A-Stick = Left-Stick A = X B = A C-buttons = Right-Stick L = Left Bumber R = Right Bumper Z = Left Trigger
That’s my default setup for all of N64. Unfortunately there’s no 6-button version of the Xbox controller, as this would allow B,C,Y, & Z to be set as the C-buttons. But the right-stick is close enough for most games.
