RetroArch on Aspire 260 Ubuntu Running REALLY Slow

I know the hardware is not premium, but I can barely get Retroarch to work. I have to hold down the arrow button to move and then wait a minute before it changes. Any tips?

If it is not enough try to update graphic driver and maybe switch to lubuntu as you are using ubuntu.

OMG a million times better! Thank you!

Hi you all. I´ve got exactly the same issue with retroarch running on lubuntu. Once you push an arrow key, you should wait many seconds for it to move. I´ve tried the link below, but that thread is not working. I´ve cannot reach the tip/fix you refer.

Sergio-br2, may I have the tip from you? Maybe at another thread. Thanks in advance.
