Retroarch on brand new Ubuntu 24.10 install

Good evening, everyone! I am new here, but am having some trouble. I have installed Ubuntu 24.10, and Retroarch, from the libretro/testing PPA. This of course, gave me version 1.20. What audio settings have must Ubuntu users had most success with? I am experiencing a lot of studdering and choppiness, whether I have vsync turned on or off. I tried the pipewire audio output, as well as the default, Pulse. With the Alsa choices, I have no sound at all. I appreciate anyone’s suggestion for smoothing out my audio. I am also using a Gigabyte motherboard, with aa Core I7 10th gen processor. Intel graphics are on board, connected to an LG smart TV, via HDMI.

Thanks,

Guy

Looks like I’m using pulse here. No issues.
