Can I run Retroarch on Debian without a desktop environment?
By chance it also works with flatpak retroarch? 
You’d have to try it and find out.
@Nikoh77 If you are on Debian I think it’s worth learning how to compile it. It really is not that difficult.
Works fine with good old X too here. (normal install)
