RetroArch on OSX ML 10.8.3 issues

Hi, I’m trying to get Retroarch working on OSX ML 10.8.3 but i’m running into several issues. (i downloaded this version: http://forum.themaister.net/viewtopic.php?id=104)

  1. RetroArch Phoenix doesn’t load my ROMs, error i get is “Failed to open ROM”. Using retroarch via commandline opens the rom successfully but the colors are off.

  2. RetroArch Phoenix doesn’t load the last saved config file, so everytime I start Retroarch phoenix I need to setup everything again. When i start phoenix, the field RetroArch config file gets populated with “-psn_0_1208615”. Is there a meaning to this? and is there a way for Phoenix to save the last used config ?

That’s odd.

I’m not sure what could be going on with #1. I’ll do some testing on my end today, though I’m on 10.7, so it may not be too informative. For #2, you should be able to load the retroarch-phoenix.cfg to get the most recent settings back.

I downloaded an older version of Phoenix and it resolved the issues I was having. So it seems the latest version has some issues with ML, at least for me.

Is there something I’m missing out with an older version of Phoenix?

Not really. There are a couple of options that aren’t exposed but nothing major that I can think of.

Thanks, i’ll use this one for the time being.
