Retroarch USB Controller / Archos Gamepad 2

Hallo,

Do you have a list of which usb controllers / gamepads are supported in Retroarch? I’m using Retroarch on the Android Tablet Trekstor Surftab Breeze 7.0. The Tablet has an Micro USB connection, and now I want to know which USB Controller / Gamepad causes less issues, so that i can buy a compatible one.

Furthermore I want to know if the Archos Gamepad 2 is supported by Retroarch and if it’s supported, can every emulatar of Retroarch be controlled by the gamepad? I havent’ find an emulator who supports Sega Dreamcast or C64 games in Retroarch. Is it planned to integrate one in the future?

I personally like PS3 controllers and xbox 360 controllers, but a lot of controllers work great. Just avoid anything weird and obscure, and it’s usually best if you can avoid anything that’s mobile-focused, as they use weird chipsets and conform to strange APIs.

I don’t know if the Archos 2 pad is supported. I see “Archos Gamepad” in the source code, but I don’t know if that includes the v2.

I don’t think there are any adequate open-source emulators for Dreamcast to include, unfortunately. I think C64 is going to be covered by the MESS core.

Nope. There’s a PPSSPP core, but no PCSX2 core.
